I don't think anyone was under some real illusion that the election of Barack Obama actually means the end of racism in America . I'm pretty sure that the president-elect knew it better than anyone. After all, he saw it every day, from the moment he announced his candidacy. To some degree, he saw it within his own party during the primaries. And he saw it in all ugliness during the general election. For half of this country, he was "That One". No matter how big and clear his victory was. No matter how smart he is. The Night Club Scene In China

The scene in China is so different from the states, more people are out enjoying their lives because they have earned it.  China is a bustling belt of economic growth and prosperity.  I love being here for many reasons.  Tailor made clothes is very easy to come by and I love that, shoe making is an everyday occurance here and I am enjoying it all.  You should visit China, plan ahead and bring your favorite garment to have it made in other colors. The museums are a MUST, you could be in for a treat. 

I love being an artist and a musician more. Travel has been first and foremost in my career and everything else has had to follow. I have been away from my home town Dallas, Texas since August 2010, it is now February 2011. This trip, started out in Japan and traveled on to China. I have been to China many times before and have never been here for the Chinese New Year until this month. Leading up to the Chinese New Year celebration is an experience within itself, trains, planes, buses, subways and even taxi cabs are not easy to get this time of year. The Chinese have the power to improvise and the improvised transportation is a PRICELESS system that I will tell you of later. We have all been informed that there is one point three BILLION people in China however, you can never be sure of this until you are here to see it in action.
