I look forward to my every date at Sushi Rock, the staff and ownership are very gracious and generous. It is like being in Japan again, where you are always treated like the most important person in the world. Americans really appreciate this kind of an atmosphere, you can tell when you walk in, it is always full of people enjoying themselves.

Sandra Kaye and Julie Bonk were the first to perform the Winery in 2003. Located on the northwest side of Fort Worth, The winery offers a destination suitable for many occasions, from an afternoon tasting, a relaxed lunch or fine dinner, to one of our very popular Jazz Sundays.

Like the great old clubs, both real and fictional, Scat Jazz Lounge has the vibe that only exists in our dreams or maybe the movies. Set in the basement of the historic Woolworth building, Scat carries on the New York tradition of the coolest clubs being underground and off the beaten. The idea was to create a club for adults. A place where you can enjoy a great cocktail while listening to some of the best music ever written. Proving that dark and swanky can also be comfortable, we’ve combined rich wood accents with deco curves and rich red curtain to make it easy on the eyes. There are no tv’s and no beer signs, just a great hideaway from every other place.

Sandra Kaye is releasing two CD's at the same time. "I Have My Standards" a recording session in Shanghai China with Carol Chang of Taipe Taiwan and Danny Healy of Sydney Australia as the musical directors, Michael Hicks on bass, Corey Radford on drums, Danny Healy on Saxophones and Chinese flute and Carol Chang on piano. "Sandra Kaye Sings Big Band Ballads and Blues" is a compilation of past recording projects with "Soctt Bucklin and Friends Featuring Sandra Kaye" What Will I Tell My Heart?" with The James Gilyard Ensemble" The Mesquite Jazz Ensemble with Curtis Bradshaw" Live at the Mesquite Arts Center" and cuts from "I Have My Standards." First CD's will be on sale December 2, 2009 at the Sammons Center for the Arts.

I am usually with the big band on the last Wednesday of the month and did not realize that I was on this gig. You should have seen the way I tore it down Dallas North Tollway because I thought I would be playing Sullivans and they had a surprise for me when I got there. Fortunately for me I was able to make the gig at Sandaga Market. Lou Marini was off the hook! So glad I made it.

I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who has come out week after week to support us in our big band project. The music has been BEAUTIFUL. We need your continuing support for our project. We have chosen to be there every LAST Wednesday night.
