- Born and raised in Nebraska, one day she hopped on a bus with 21 suitcases and boxes, $200, her best friend in tow and off they went to ?Big D? yes, Dallas Texas! Her first professional career was in retailing. Wanting to be a fashion commentator, and those jobs being few and far between, she ended up as a buyer traveling the world. These travels gave her opportunities to perform and to meet other musicians and songwriters around the world.
